PANEL #1
W.E.B. Du Bois and His Enemies: The Current Struggle to Reclaim Black Reconstruction
Black Reconstruction, a complete intellectual work, evokes both serious forward looking scholarship and vicious ideological attacks. Du Bois has as many enemies today, as he did at the height of the Cold War and McCarthyism. This panel will explore the intellectual strategies of the enemies of Du Bois and what we must do to reclaim and advance his scientific and theoretical achievements, vital to the democratic struggles as we go forward.

PANEL #2
W.E.B. Du Bois and V.I. Lenin: Toward a New Revolutionary Worldview
The Saturday Free School at its 10th anniversary has proposed that in the revolution process of the U.S. a new theoretical framework is necessary. It is a synthesis of Lenin and Du Bois. We are asking each presenter to speak on how they see this synthesis and its consequences for our struggle going forward.

ROUNDTABLE
Achieving Our Nation: The Fierce Urgency of Now
On this roundtable, these are the questions that should be considered:
1. Are working people more capable of standing up for their interests today? While many left theorists count working people out, is it fair to say that the US working class can be a leading force in the struggle for democracy and peace?
2. Does the black working class today have the capacity to provide leadership as it had in the Second and Third American Revolutions?
3. Can the American people rise to oppose the Biden Administration’s war policies against Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran?
4. How should we view the Trump candidacy in the 2024 presidential election? Should we view it differently should he run as an independent? Does the Trump presidential candidacy in 2024 indicate the emergence of a new American politics?
